What to expect at the theatre

The interior of the theater has seen many transformations over the years. Inspired by 15th-century Tuscan villas, the exterior façade features a stucco surface and quoin masonry blocks.

In the main lobby, you’ll find Italian-style doors, grilles, and ticket booths, leading to a two-tiered Art Deco-style lounge, renovated in 1993. Later, in 1995, Barbara Campagna and Francesca Russo restored the original 50s décor.

Within the auditorium itself, there is seating for 1,225 people (depending on the production), with both an orchestra level and a balcony. The orchestra level is accessible for wheelchair users via a stair lift. Seating includes 754 orchestra seats and 485 in the mezzanine, spread across two levels. While the mezzanine offers good views, there may be some restrictions in the orchestra due to the overhang.

The theater interior can vary depending on the production. For example, in 2024, the Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club theme added extra seats. It’s always advisable to check seating layouts for individual shows before booking.
