This leafy area is a far cry from the skyscrapers of midtown, surrounded by cafes, restaurants, and other Off-Broadway venues like the Public Theater. Nearby areas include the ever-trendy SoHo, Greenwich Village, and East Village. It’s easily accessible from anywhere in New York City via public transportation.
On your trip to the Astor Place Theatre, please leave plenty of time for travel, security screenings, and finding your seat before the performance. Theater doors usually open 30 minutes before show time. If you’re in a group, please plan to arrive even earlier.
