Broadway fans will love any visit to the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. It’s Broadway all over — glitz, glamor, and world-class performances.

Outside, the venue is surrounded by the noise and vibrancy of midtown Manhattan. It’s an authentic Broadway experience, from the lines outside to the lobby and the grand auditorium.

The lobby typically opens 45 minutes before shows begin. Lines can take a little while, and all guests should be seated in time before the show to avoid being held in the lobby. There are plenty of concessions and refreshments available inside.

A coat check is available in the winter months. Most guests dress in smart casual clothing — although please feel free to dress formally if you’d like to.

Many guests also enjoy taking the time to stroll around the venue’s public areas. The vaulted inner lobby builds an atmosphere before shows, while there is a collection of Al Hirschfeld’s finest drawings in the mezzanine gallery.

Entering the auditorium, you’ll find your seats at the orchestra or mezzanine levels. There are also boxes for a premium show. No matter your seat, you’ll receive a great view and acoustics — surrounded by the classical theater feel of deep reds and shining golds.
